Reboot Youth Workshop
Presented by The Connect Center for Youth
Reboot Youth Workshop, presented by The Connect Center for Youth, is a free, hands-on summer program designed for students entering grades 6–12. The workshop will be held at 49 Johnston Ave, Cohoes, NY 12407, during two sessions: Week 6 (August 4–8) or Week 7 (August 18–22), from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Reboot introduces youth to the exciting world of technology through engaging lessons in computer hardware, software, and beginner-friendly coding using platforms like Scratch. Students will also explore game development by designing characters, building levels, and telling interactive stories through code.
Participants will gain valuable skills in creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving—all in a fun, supportive environment. At the end of the program, each student will receive their own personal computer to take home, helping to bridge the digital divide and continue learning beyond the workshop.
Enrollment is limited to 10–15 students per week. Don’t miss this opportunity to jumpstart a passion for tech and innovation.
