The Warren and Denyse Mackey Foundation was born from a deep belief that access—whether to education, healthcare, or opportunity—should never depend on your zip code. Rooted in legacy and driven by love, we invest in the success of underserved communities across New York’s Capital District by removing barriers and creating pathways.

From scholarships to summer camps, cancer screenings to tech training, every program we fund is designed to empower, uplift, and expand what’s possible—for students, families, and futures.

Why
We Exist

The Warren and Denyse Mackey Foundation was created in loving memory of Warren A. Mackey—a devoted husband, father, mentor, and community leader. Warren’s life was defined by faith, service, and a deep love for people. After his passing in 2021 due to heart disease, the Foundation was established to carry forward his legacy of compassion, generosity, and empowerment. Through programs that uplift youth, support education, and improve community health, we honor Warren’s vibrant spirit and lifelong commitment to giving back.

What We Do

Education Access

We award scholarships, distribute free technology to college-bound students, and host college immersion experiences to help young people succeed beyond high school.

Youth Empowerment

From free summer camps to hands-on STEM workshops like Reboot, we provide safe, inspiring spaces for youth to explore, grow, and prepare for bright futures.

Health Equity & Prevention

We support cancer and heart care initiatives, fund pediatric health programs, and offer free preventative screenings for high-risk diseases—saving lives and promoting wellness where it’s needed most.
