Tee Off for a Cause
On July 21, 2025, we held the Warren Mackey Golf Classic at Albany Country Club, proudly sponsored by Albany Med Health System. With a 9:30 AM shotgun start and a buffet breakfast beginning at 8:00 AM, golfers enjoyed a full day of friendly competition, food, drinks, and community spirit. Proceeds benefited The Warren & Denyse Mackey Foundation, Inc., supporting scholarships, youth programs in underserved communities, and heart and cancer wellness initiatives.
Tournament Highlights & Prizes
This one-day event featured a 4-person scramble format with prizes for top teams, longest drive, closest to the pin, and hole-in-one contests—including a $10,000 top prize. Participants also had the chance to enter a putting contest with the purchase of a $20 mulligan package. The day concluded with a reception, awards ceremony, and a raffle for exciting prizes. Sponsorship opportunities were available for businesses, organizations, and individuals eager to support a meaningful cause.

The Warren Mackey Golf Classic was established in honor of Warren Mackey’s enduring legacy of service, mentorship, and community impact. What began as a small gathering of friends and supporters has grown into a signature fundraising event for The Warren & Denyse Mackey Foundation. Each year, the tournament brings people together not just for the love of golf, but to continue Warren’s mission of empowering youth, promoting wellness, and giving back.
