This is the camp that you would have loved to witness!
The Warren and Denyse Mackey Foundation sponsored a week long dance camp. The camp provided full day instruction at ‘THE DROP IN’ in Delmar, NY. Instructors taught current and age appropriate hip hop dance moves. In addition to providing food and refreshments, this camp was focused on friendship and team building skills.
The Warren and Denyse Mackey Foundation sponsored kids attendance and provided bus transportation to the summer basketball camp.
Dwayne Killings SUNY Basketball Camp 2023
Forty kids from the Capital District enjoyed the pleasure of basketball instruction and constructive supervised youth interaction while attending the Dwane Killings youth basketball camp.
The week long camp provided essential basketball skills taught by a former player and the current coach and his staff/volunteers. This was not simply an effort to keep kids occupied, kids were drilled in basketball techniques and were socialized with other area youth providing tangible life skills.
The Warren and Denyse Mackey Foundation sponsored a week long half day camp in partnership with the Connect Center and Paint Cohoes where kids developed a permanent wall mural painting at the Connect Center for youth. The camp registration was filled quickly in one day! Follow us on Facebook for up to date information about more summer camp opportunities.
